Glasses Preview, see a song on the lens

Song editor β†’ πŸ‘“ Glasses Β· or sidebar β†’ πŸ‘“ Glasses Preview

Shows any song exactly as your G2 glasses will render it, line by line, before you get to the gig. It runs the same code the glasses run, so it is not an impression of the layout, it is the layout.

It also checks the song for you and flags which lines will wrap onto a second row on the small display, where a chord had to be pulled in to fit the width, and where each section starts. Paste a song in, or open one in the editor and press the Glasses button to load it straight in.

You can edit in the box and watch the lens redraw as you type, which makes it quick to try a shorter line or nudge a chord along before committing to it. Editing there does not change your library: make the real change in the song editor.

Export ChordPro

Sidebar β†’ ⬆ Export ChordPro

Back up your entire library as standard ChordPro files, one file per song or a single zip. Your songs are always portable; nothing is locked in.

Export PDF

Sidebar β†’ ⬆ Export PDF

Pick songs and generate clean printed chord charts, chords above lyrics, one song per page, then save as PDF from the print dialog.

Import ChordPro

Sidebar β†’ ⬇ Import ChordPro

Drop any number of ChordPro files to add them all as new songs in one pass. Accepts .chordpro, .cho, .pro, .crd and .txt.

Lyrics in Pages, Word or Google Docs

Console β†’ open a song β†’ Plain Text

Documents from a word processor cannot be imported directly. A .pages or .docx file will not even be selectable in the file picker. There are two ways to bring those lyrics across.

Paste them (quickest for a few songs). Sign in to the console on your computer, open or create the song, set the editor to Plain Text, then copy the lyrics out of your document and paste them straight in. No file, no formatting, nothing to convert. It syncs to your iPad immediately.

Save as plain text first (best for a lot of songs). In Pages choose File β†’ Export To β†’ Plain Text. In Word or Google Docs, save or download as .txt. Then drop those files into Import ChordPro, which happily takes plain text with no chords in it at all.

Import from SongBook Pro, one drop

Sidebar β†’ ⬇ Import SongBook Pro

Drop your raw .sbpbackup file and QMe imports everything in one step, songs with chords, keys, tempos, capo notes, and each song’s MIDI commands. A MIDI-only mode adds commands to songs you’ve already imported, matched by title.

Import MIDI from CSV

Sidebar β†’ ⬇ Import MIDI (CSV)

Bulk-attach MIDI commands from a SongBook Pro CSV export, matched by song title, written in order.

Import.qmeset

Sidebar β†’ ⬇ Import.qmeset

Import a QMe setlist file shared by another QMe user.

Reset library

qmeprompter.com/reset-library (deliberately not linked in the sidebar)

Wipes songs, setlists, and books for a clean start, useful before re-importing a whole library. It demands you type DELETE to confirm and can’t be reached by accident.

On Planning Center? A service plan can be imported straight in as a setlist, every song in the plan's key.

Migrating a whole library? See moving from SongBook Pro (one file, MIDI included) or moving from OnSong (via ChordPro).
