Switching from SongBook Pro

Move your whole SongBook Pro library across in one drop

You spent years building that library. You should not have to build it again. QMe reads your SongBook Pro backup file directly and brings your songs, your chords and all your MIDI across together, in a single step.

What comes across

How to do it

  1. Back up in SongBook ProCreate a backup in SongBook Pro. You will end up with a file ending in .sbpbackup.
  2. Open the QMe web consoleGo to qmeprompter.com on a computer and sign in with your QMe account.
  3. Open the SongBook Pro importerOpen the Import / Export menu and choose Import SongBook Pro.
  4. Drop the file inThat is the whole job. No renaming, no CSV wrangling, no scripts, no re-typing.

A library of around 750 songs imports in a couple of minutes. This has been tested against real libraries that size, not a demo file.

Just want your MIDI?

If your songs are already in QMe and it is only the MIDI you are missing, there is a MIDI-only mode. It matches on song title and adds the MIDI to the songs you already have, leaving everything else exactly as it is.

A note on duplicates

If your library has two songs with the same title, QMe keeps both. SongBook Pro's own export quietly drops one of them, which is worth knowing if you have ever compared a backup against your actual library and found the numbers did not match.
