The Web Console WEB
qmeprompter.com, your library on a real keyboard. Sign in with the same account; every change syncs live to the app.
Song editor, three modes
Console → pick a song → Structured / ChordPro / Plain Text
- Structured: sections, lines, and chords as clickable elements. Click above any word to set its chord exactly there; add and remove lines and sections inline.
- ChordPro: the whole song as standard ChordPro text with
[C] inline chords, faithful to your stored chord positions. Paste from anywhere.
- Plain Text: just the words, fastest for typing lyrics in.
Title, artist, key, BPM, duration override, notes, and color tag sit at the top; a Live Preview pane shows the performance view as you edit, and unsaved changes are flagged until you Save.
Web teleprompter
Console → song or setlist → ▶ Perform
A full teleprompter in the browser: play/pause, manual or BPM auto-scroll, font and tempo controls, voice follow, previous/next through a setlist, and camera recording for practice review.
PDF import with Apple Music matching
Console sidebar → ⇅ Import / Export → Import PDF
Drop a PDF chord sheet; choose Smart, ChordPro, or plain parsing; QMe warns if you already have a song with that title and can search Apple Music to link the track in the same step.
Importing from Ultimate Guitar? Don't use their “Download PDF” button. It saves the page as a picture with no text inside it, so QMe has to read it with character recognition. That recovers the words but not the gaps, and every chord collapses to the left margin instead of sitting above the right syllable. Instead, on iPad tap Share → Options → PDF → Save to Files, or on a computer use Print → Save as PDF. Those keep a real text layer and the chords land where they belong.
Follow a session from any phone, Android included
Console sidebar → ⇅ Import / Export → ♫ Follow a session
A bandmate does not need an iPhone to follow your setlist. They open qmeprompter.com in any browser, on Android, Windows, an old tablet, anything, and follow along live while you lead from the app.
How to set it up
- On your iPhone or iPad, start a Jam session as you normally would. QMe shows a short session code.
- Your bandmate opens qmeprompter.com in their browser and signs in. A free QMe account is enough, they do not need a subscription and they do not need the app.
- In the sidebar they open ⇅ Import / Export and tap ♫ Follow a session.
- They type in your code. The song opens and the lyrics start moving with you.
What they see
Whatever you are on. When you change songs, their screen changes. When you move down the page, their page moves. Chords appear above the words exactly as they do on your iPad. A small line at the top corner shows whose session they are following.
They are following, not driving. The web follower only reads the session, so nobody watching can accidentally scroll your set or change your song. If they close the page or lose signal, they can rejoin with the same code and land back where you are.
What the follower does not do: Voice Follow, Apple Music, the Apple Watch and the G2 glasses all stay with the app. The web follower is for reading along in time with the person leading, which is what a bandmate on a different phone actually needs.
Setlists on the web
Console → Setlists tab
Build and reorder setlists, then share them: copy as text, download as a file, share a link, or your device’s native share. ▶ Perform runs the whole set in the web teleprompter.
Books, tags, and sorting
Console → Books · color tags and sort in the song list
The same books and six color tags as the app, create books with a color and icon, filter and sort your library, and everything appears on the iPad instantly.
Manage / delete songs in bulk
Console → account menu → “Manage / delete songs”
Search, filter, and check off any number of songs, then delete them in one action, behind a two-step confirmation so a slip can’t wipe anything.
QMe is free to download. A new account gets 30 days of full access, no card required.
