How to Perform Your Suno Songs Live

You made a song in Suno and now you want to play it. Here is how to get the lyrics, chords and backing track ready so the words keep up with you on stage.

Updated for QMe 1.42. From the team that makes QMe Prompter.

Import from Suno comes with QMe 1.42, which is in App Store review now. Until it arrives on your iPad, mute the vocal on your Suno stems in GarageBand or Logic, export the rest as a WAV, and attach it to the song as its backing track.

The short version

In QMe, choose Add Song, then Import from Suno. Paste your Suno lyrics, pick the stems you downloaded from Suno, and QMe builds the song and its backing track for you, without your vocal and the exact length of the song. Sing it through once and the lyrics follow the music on stage.

1. Download from Suno

Copy your song's lyrics, and download the stems (a ZIP of separate tracks: vocals, drums, bass, keys and more). Stems come with a paid Suno plan. If you only have the full song or an instrumental, you can use those audio files instead.

2. Import from Suno in QMe

In QMe, go to Add Song and choose Import from Suno. You can also open the ZIP or an audio file from the Files app and send it to QMe, and it lands in the same place.

Backing tracks are part of QMe Pro, and the free trial includes everything.

3. Add your chords

Suno does not give you chords, so add them yourself: in the song, put each chord on the line above the word it lands on, and QMe keeps it there.

4. Let QMe learn the song

Press play and sing it through once with Voice Follow on. While the track plays, QMe notes where each section starts, so next time the lyrics follow the music on their own. You can also tap mark on the section list and tap each part as it starts.

5. Take it on stage

QMe runs on iPhone and iPad, and it is free to start, with a 30 day full-access trial and no card. Get it on the App Store.
