1. Who we are

QMe Prompter is an iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and web application for live musicians. The app and its services are operated by Decor Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). When this policy refers to "QMe Prompter" or "the app," it means the QMe Prompter mobile app, the Apple Watch companion, the QMe Web Console at qmeprompter.com, and the QMe Prompter plugin for Even Realities Even Hub.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a QMe account, we collect the following:

Content you create

QMe stores the songs, setlists, books, and annotations you create in the app. This includes:

Device pairing data

If you use the Even Realities G2 smart-glasses integration, we store a small pairing record so the glasses can recognize your account. This consists of the 4-digit code shown on the glasses and a session identifier. We do not collect anything else from the glasses themselves.

Diagnostic and crash information

If the app crashes, Apple may send a crash report to us through your device's standard diagnostic-sharing setting, which you control in iOS Settings. We do not use third-party crash reporting or third-party analytics services.

What we do not collect. QMe Prompter does not contain third-party advertising, does not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers, and does not include third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.

3. How we use your information

We do not use your content (lyrics, chords, annotations) to train artificial-intelligence models, and we do not share it with anyone outside the service providers listed below.

4. Who we share information with

We share the minimum information necessary with a small set of trusted infrastructure providers:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, by valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QMe users or the public.

5. Where your data is stored

Account information and the content you create are stored in Google Firebase, which uses servers located in the United States. Your data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and at rest using Google's standard storage encryption.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from Firebase as described in the Account Deletion section below.

6. Information that stays on your device

Some QMe features operate entirely on your device and do not transmit anything to our servers:

7. Subscriptions and payments

Pro subscriptions are sold through the App Store, billed by Apple, and managed in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. We never receive your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details from Apple. The only payment-related data we receive is whether your subscription is active.

If you cancel your subscription, the cancellation is processed by Apple. QMe does not issue refunds directly; refund requests must be submitted to Apple through the App Store.

Standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA) apply to your subscription.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or similar local laws. These rights generally include:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@qmeprompter.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your QMe account from inside the app at any time. Open the Profile tab, scroll to Delete Account, and follow the prompts. Account deletion removes your profile, songs, setlists, books, annotations, favourites, and pairing data from our Firebase database. Recordings (Takes) that you stored locally on your device remain on the device until you delete them yourself.

If you cannot use the in-app flow for any reason, email support@qmeprompter.com from the email address associated with your account and we will process the deletion manually.

10. Children's privacy

QMe Prompter is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete the information promptly.

11. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. Connections to our servers are encrypted with TLS, and data at rest is encrypted by our hosting providers. Access to your account requires authentication through Firebase Auth, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your information and to notify you promptly if a security incident affects you.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice inside the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use QMe after the effective date of an updated policy means you accept the updated terms.
